I wonder what Dobson would say about this activist Judge
Judge: Parents can't teach pagan beliefs
An Indianapolis father is appealing a Marion County judge's unusual order that prohibits him and his ex-wife from exposing their child to "non-mainstream religious beliefs and rituals."
Let it be known that I think this is a gross over-stepping of the power of this judge. I can't believe they've not taken it to the Supreme Court yet! Even if I think the faith is inaccurate - they have every right in this country to practice it!
How could a Judge even think that he could have the right to say that parents can't teach their child thier faith?!

Banksy Strikes Again

The Peckham Rock
Yesterday their newest aquisition was removed from it's walls. But, today the museum administrators have agreed to loan the piece (which has become known as 'The Peckham Rock') to the exhibition 'A few of our favourite fiends' which opens tomorrow at The Outside Institute. It will be on the wall there until June 19th - When it will return to the British Museums permanent collection.
As usual, Banksy amazes by adding a peice to the British Museum - unnoticed until he announced it on his site!

Noam Chomsky's Blog

Turning the Tide
The official weblog of Noam Chomsky, including exclusive, original observations drawn from personal correspondence, ZNet Sustainer Forums posts, and direct blog entries.
I know, it hasn't been updated since July of last year, but this guy is one of my intellectual heroes. First off, he's a professor of liguistics at MIT.
Also, his books on politics and the like are just jaw dropping - to see the stuff that we don't have time to dig out of the news we're bombarded with every day. He goes around the "filters" that limit what we read, hear and see in the media and reveals what is going on 'behind the curtain.
I think I am going to start something new. I have found that Wikipedia has an amazing amount of material on just about any subject. I am going to begin linking Wikipedia articles that are relevant to each entry.
